Burn: Trunk Exercises and Stretching- Lumbar
All exercises should be done slowly and smoothly.
Hold each exercise for 10-15 seconds.

Supine trunk rotation
Bend both knees to chest or place bottoms of feet on bed.
Rotate knees side to side keeping knees together
Seated forward flexion
Sit in chair with knees apart.
Bend forward towards the floor.
Seated forward flexion with rotation
Sit in chair with knees apart.
Bend forward toward the floor reaching to one side.
Sit upright and repeat on opposite side.

All 4s cat/cow
Kneel on bed or floor.
Lean forward to place hands on floor.
Tuck chin and tighten stomach arching back.


All 4s Child’s pose with side stretch
From position on all 4s, sit back while stretching arms out in front.
Reach to each side as far as you can while keeping chest low to the floor.
